The number of online petition and online campaign emails that I receive from my constituents through websites such as 38 Degrees, etc has steadily increased over the last few years. I really welcome that my constituents are sharing their views and opinions with me. However, there are also many emails and phone calls from constituents requesting my direct assistance when something has gone wrong for them – such as Universal Credit, hospital waiting times, housing and many other issues; this correspondence is also growing.

To ensure that my constituent issues raised in campaign emails, (which can be in the hundreds on the same subject) are responded to in a timely manner; responses to large online petitions and online campaigns will be put on my website.
