Our Lady’s School Prayer Garden Opening and Blessing

It was an honour for me to give the reading at the Blessing and Opening of Our Lady’s Primary School Prayer Garden this morning. As a former pupil of Our Lady’s in Widnes, the school holds very special memories for me. The garden was opened by His Grace, The Most Reverend Malcolm McMahon OP, Archbishop of Liverpool.

The garden was funded by donations that the Manning family received in memory of the late Peter Manning, whose wish was for any donations in his memory to go to Our Lady’s, a school that he was closely connected to for many years. Additional funding was provided by the Knights of St Columba.
It was a lovely occasion, the children were an absolute credit to their school and families.
