I am bitterly disappointed that Widnes Vikings have gone into administration, like all Widnes supporters I was hoping that a buyer would have come forward and prevented the Club from going into administration. I hope it is possible that Widnes can quickly get back to playing competitive Rugby League again soon – clearly the only way this can be done is by somebody with enough finance being able to buy the club.
I have been and will be doing a number of things, including talking to the Administrator, the Rugby League and Halton Council about what can be done to try and get the Club up and running again. I am concerned there is very little time available to save the club.
